I really loved this book! I was a huge fan of Bjorn and loved his character. the story had a lot of mystery and intrigue and I highly recommend the book. I can't wait to see what happens next in this world.While this was a standalone novel I do recommend reading the previous books in the series before this as a lot of things are linked in the books and it's interesting to connect all the novels.

Wayyyy too short; never would have read this if it weren't a Unlimited offer.
Such great characters & plot. Wish it had been a 300 page novel...
I loved this book!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Sorry I had too, and really who doesn’t love a good pirate story. There are not enough pirate stories out there and on top of that good ones. No need to fret here however, because this story was good!
First, I have to say I really did enjoy the author’s take on the Snow White and Rose Red fable. This had a Historical Sci-Fi flair to it which had me captivated considering its length.
The want between Aaron and Captain Bjorn was beautifully done. To watch Aaron figure out his path in life and his struggles to get there, both physically and emotionally was well done. So, when he realizes where his heart belongs, it is bewitching. Seriously, there are a few moments where I got a little teary eyed.
I really do hope that they the authors decide to continue on with Captain Bjorn and Aaron story since there are a few unanswered questions. Now there is a chance that the answers I am looking for might be answered in the Knights of the Compass series. So, I guess I will have to attack that series next.

Lovely writing, as always! Such great characters and great story telling in the Tales from the Compass. A fairy tale-like story and sexy pirates, what more could you ask for!
